James is an expert in sports, esports, operational megaevent delivery, commercial strategy and market development and has developed experience in various facets of major sporting events, commercial strategy and International Organizations. His 15+ years of experience include operational planning for hundreds of live events, heading up a prestigious consultancy and training centre, the delivery of numerous FIFA World Cups, and creating commercial and market development strategies in the world of esports.

In these leading sporting organizations, James led commercial, product, business and market development planning, designing and executing revenue-driving strategies. Before this, James was heavily involved in the operational planning and business strategy for over 100 live events at Wembley Stadium.
At FIFA, James worked on conceptualizing core event planning and operations approaches and strategies for all FIFA tournaments and events (including the Men's and Women's World Cups). He also oversaw the development and commercialization of a $30M+ digital technology transformation programme, at the intersection of the Technology, Tournaments & Events and Commercial Divisions.
James has an MSc in International Politics and Security from University College London (UCL) and various project management qualifications, including Prince2, AgilePM Practitioner and a Certificate in Business Administration. He is pursuing an MBA at The Open University.
Due to existing commitments James does not provide advisory services to esports organizations, but can provide esports consultancy to government or other private bodies.
